This school is amazing! We have 2 kids here with plans to start our youngest next yr as well. They have such an amazing community! I appreciate their educational approach!!!! Anyone can look up facts, this day and age, but this school teaches how to be curious. My kids are very motivated to go to school every day.
The Swain School has a joyful environment. I look forward to dropping my kids off there every morning. It's a school where the parents are welcomed inside. We can even have morning coffee there. They have programs on some mornings for the parents to learn how to parent better, together with lots of challenges we're facing. I can say that, they are always looking at what is best for the growth of my individual children. Also, it feels like every teacher knows my children's name. My children have grown so much. They are kind, curious, thoughtful and engage in interesting conversation. I'm forever grateful for the opportunity that given to my children to attend in such an amazing school.
Our family is satisfied that our children attended The Swain School for years. But, we're very happy that our experience is over. The worst elements of a private institution have overtaken this school. What matters most is the appearance of the school and touting the accomplishments of the graduates that meet their criteria of success. Also, you better be willing to pay for the privilege of attendance. Because, the need for a new and better athletic field, even though there's already a glorious as well as spacious one, a new golf cart for a particularly large donor to use, or whatever is on the wish list of the few, becomes the order of the day.
