I enrolled my son for the 2017-2018 academic year because I was worried he wasn't getting the quality education he needed at his public school. The public school experience was full of homework, crowded classrooms, and an overemphasis on standardized testing. Thankfully, I discovered this school. It doesn't just focus on academics but it also concentrates on developing social, emotional, and life skills. They uphold core values that encourage family involvement. The abundance of homework given by public schools left my son feeling drained and aggravated. However, its curriculum caters to each child's unique needs. The level of communication between the teachers and parents was incredible. They keep you in the loop and forge strong bonds with the students. As a result, the students show a great deal of respect. You have to see it to believe it. They're quick to follow instructions, and every person on staff genuinely cares for the students. Also, the classroom sizes are small. Moreover, the school offers healthy organic lunches and provides top-tier extracurricular programs and fundraisers. Seeing my son's growing confidence and academic improvement prompted me to pull my daughters from public school and enroll them here. They love it. It should be noted that this school has no tolerance for bullying or disrespectful, potentially aggressive behavior. They're selective about who they accept into their school. Given the state of public schools across the country, this is completely understandable. They prioritize school safety. I realize this review is lengthy, but I'm truly thankful to this school for providing such a nurturing environment. At his previous public school, my son's self-esteem took a hit, the teachers seemed indifferent, and the constant testing was overwhelming. He was lost. He struggled with homework, and getting him to school was a battle. After a few months here, though, I saw his confidence improve, he started becoming self-reliant, his handwriting improved, and his focus sharpened. Now, he even enjoys reading books. In conclusion, if you've been contemplating switching to this school, I highly recommend it. The smaller class sizes, a high-quality curriculum, a secure environment, organic food, a caring staff, and respectful students will welcome you.
