Weizmann Day School, has excellent teachers, personalized attention, small classes and a welcoming atmosphere. You rarely hear about this school. before you go there. However, don't let that fool you. It's like a better-guarded secret surprise. The staff here is great. The turnover is low, so you know what they're doing is working. Most importantly, I think they're do care about my kids. The staff is experienced, patient and know how to motivate and bring out the best in children. Most employees have been constantly involved in the school for years, even decades. They are dedicated to students and love what they do. The principal is wonderful and has been there for years. When we started, I had no idea how much I would love this school. He starts kindergarten every morning with his main teacher, then in the afternoon there is a rotation of different teachers with lessons in art, dance, music, social sciences, sciences, immersion in Hebrew and Judaism. There is a STEM laboratory too. Academics come here by nature without feeling like competitors. My son comes home eager to read and try to write. The students are very sweet and inclusive as well. There are reading friends, where a high school student is assigned a younger student to read on Fridays. The school encourages positive behaviour and friendliness. Parents are encouraged to participate in class work. I read a book when I went to class and went to some classroom activities, it was always fun After school, the parents organised a play day once a week and there have been several PTO events. There's a beautiful community here.
