Los Encinos School, is a great balance between a traditional school and a progressive school. It is one of the last elementary environment, that tries to preserve childhood. Kids are the sweetest here too. The kids go to middle school more than academically and emotionally prepared. It's a real gem.
Los Encinos School has amazing educators and head of school & leadership team. Everyone's kept on track. No family's ever forgotten and lost. An ideal school community I must say!
I have watched my children grow into confident leaders who treat others with empathy and respect ..... Think Big and Stay Small is my motto. Let us let children be children, let us make them learn, let us do projects that stimulate their growing minds and learn skills that make them solid citizens in our world.
Los Encinos School is such a gift. I knew it when we were looking for schools. It's a place that both of us parents as well as our children, felt how special it is right away. I'll never forget the time when my child was in kindergarten, a sixth grader came and sat beside me, so confident and eloquent, and said, "Enjoy this school, you're just starting out, but it's a special place and I'm so sad to leave it. For me, they're like a family and this is my second home. But I'm ready for the next chapter." I was surprised that an eleven year old speaks like this. Just see it for yourself and you will understand.
